Model
S JT5: This model features a mechanical speedometer drive designed specifically
for the Jaguar platform. The internal drive and driven gears use the same ratio
as the factory Jaguar boxes. This assures you that your speedometer will have
the same exact calibration. Using the Model S in a V12 Jaguar or 2+2 platform
will give the end user the option to pull the transmission out of the car without
having to remove the engine.
Although we recommend using a new speedometer cable, your existing speedometer
angle drive and cable will attach to the JT5. No other conversion correctly does this! Notice our drive points up and not down. This is a common cause of leaks.
