Assembling a JT5 Model RC 5 Speed

The 1 piece lug ( on right ) also has a radiused pin which also improves strength.	Here is what an assembled cover looks like with the 1-2 and 3-4 bronze alloy forks..	A distorted picture but this helps you see the lug positions.
This is the area that needs to be opened up in the tailhousing.	You need to have an edge to locate the rear race. Usually opening it up .060" is fine.	You can now assemble the top cover assembly, and tailhousing. Set the endplay to .000" to .002" preload by changing the stack height of the shims in the front bearing retainer. Use RTV Ultra Black sealer on the topcover, tailhousing and front retainer. More pictures to follow shortly.
